Hey bestie! I am so excited you are here! My journey with sustainable fashion started when I was in college. I was fascinated by all of the sustainable manufacturing practices, and what the future of sustainable fashion has for us! Nowadays, you can find me teaching sewing workshops in DFW and on my online platforms!

I currently live in Denton with my art collecting husband and our sweet blind cat, Toph! (Yes from ATLAB 😉). My favorite things to do include baking and cooking for friends and family, drinking way to much coffee for a human (but after 3PM it’s generally decaf), roller-skating, thrifting, and of course, learning how to be a conscious consumer!

These are a few of my favorite things…

1. My go to outfit is a pair of ankle jeans, classic white t-shirt, white sneakers, and a pop of color somewhere. Literally my go-to “I’m running late but want to look put together” look.
2. My designs have walked red carpets at NYFW! I have had the opportunity to send 3 garments to red carpets, and each time it has been such a fun experience! My garments were worn by Fashion Show directors and models!
3. I am a published researcher! I published my research with NCUR in 2018 after presenting my findings in OKC to my peers. A HUGE highlight for my college (and sustainability) career! Read the full presentations here.
4. My favorite era is the 60’s. I LOVE vintage mod, and Twiggy is one of my favorite fashion icons (Followed by Zandra Rhodes, whom I met in 2017 and yes, her hair is that pink)
