Hey there! We all have been there…snagged shirts, broken buttons, gapping button down shirts, falling bra straps, heels that rub. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Having an emergency fashion kit for those “whoops” moments is the perfect essential to add to your purses, travel bags, or work totes! I have had some serious oops moments, and having these items on the go really saved the day!

These essentials are also perfect to keep in your car if you don’t want to keep them in your bags. Wherever you need something, or someone you’re with has an opps moment, this will come in handy! Here’s what I put in my emergency fashion kit and what you should too!

Emergency FAshion Kit essentials

Fashion Tape

An oldie, but a goodie! Fashion tape is one of those essentials that you can use to fix and prevent the dreaded nip slip, a bra strap that won’t stay in place, a shirt that keeps shifting forward, or really anything you want to keep in one place! I am sure everyone has used the Hollywood Fashion Secrets Tape, and honestly it’s a great product. The precut strips can easily be used just about anywhere. Pro tip, the fashion tape goes on the skin first, then attach your fabric to the top for the desired look!

Lint Roller

I have a cat, and she is a shedder. Sometimes, I forget to give myself a quick lint roll after I leave and say goodbye to her. Pet hair is cute on your sweatpants at home, and of course on your animals, but on your night out look? Its a no from me dawg. These easy and reusable Pet Hair Travel Size Lint Rollers are perfect for your Fashion Emergency kit! PLUS they’re reusable! So it’s a win win for me!

Sewing Kit

Whether a button popped off your blouse or you need to whip a quite tack on your hem for the perfect length, having a needle and thread will come in handy more than you realize! These little kits are great for even the most novice of seamstresses. Easy to use, with a variety of thread for any occasion. Plus, you’ll never know when someone will need something stitched, tacked, or fixed on your next excursion! Try the Singer travel sewing kit that is even TSA friendly!

Seam Ripper

While this may not be in your mini sewing kit, it is still a great handy dandy little tool that you will love having in your fashion emergency kit for those times you accidentally snag a thread, need to snip a quick thread, or if you have a sweater with a pull on it! The sewing kit has a little seam ripper in it, but if you want to snag a different one, I highly recommend the Dritz Seam Ripper, small for those on the go emergencies! This however, is not TSA Friendly! So don’t for get to leave it in your car or at home!

Variety of Bandaids

Bandaids are kind of like the jack of all trades when it comes to fashion emergency kits. Need a nip cover? Bandaid. Have a heel that’s rubbing? Bandaid. Broke a nail? Bandaid. Literally these tiny but mighty pieces are a perfect essential to add to your fashion emergency kit. I generally grab a box of assorted sizes and throw a couple of each in my fashion emergency bag! I really like the Bandaid Sheer 80 Assorted Sizes as a great box to get that you can just throw a few in there and boom, done!

A cute bag to hold it all together!

When it comes to tiny purses, I am obsessed. For your on the go travel kit, you can use any extra reusable bag from a kit or skincare box, or go super chic and get a nice little pouch that you can just toss from bag to bag to bag with ease! Isn’t there something so cute and sweet about a little purse? I always love having a tiny wristlet or oval two part bag as a chic option to carry my emergency kits! Check out the cute bags from below to house your emergency Fashion Kit in!
